Your team Manager+

Build and organise your staff: invite new people, see who's pending, and move people between locations - all from guided wizards.

Inviting someone - the invite wizard

Open Employees and tap Invite employee (also reachable from the onboarding checklist). The invite wizard walks through five steps:

  1. Who - the person's email address.
  2. Role & specializations - their role (Admin, Manager, or Mechanic) and the kinds of work they handle.
  3. Location - where they'll work. Managers are pinned to their own location; admins can choose any.
  4. Workplace - the Create workplace when they join toggle (on by default). Leave it on and a service bay is created for them automatically the moment they accept - so they can take bookings immediately. Turn it off if you'd rather set up their workplace by hand later.
  5. Review & send - check the summary and send.

What happens next: the invitation is created and a QR code appears. The new person scans it (or types the 6-digit code) in the employee app to join. You can share the code by link, message, or email. The invitation email and SMS include direct links to the App Store and Google Play so the recipient can download the app first, then open the link.

Delivery feedback: the email is the required channel. If the address can't receive mail (the domain doesn't exist), the invitation isn't created and you'll see an error - fix the address and try again. If you also added a phone number, the SMS is an extra: when it can't be sent (for example an invalid number), the invitation still goes out by email and you get a warning that only the SMS failed. If an email is accepted but later bounces (the mailbox doesn't exist), the invitation is marked undeliverable and you get a notification, so you can re-invite with a correct address.

Pending invitations

Open Team invitations to see everyone you've invited, with their email, role, location, status (pending, accepted, revoked, expired, undeliverable), and whether a workplace will be created automatically. From here you can re-show an invitation's QR code or revoke one that hasn't been accepted yet.

If you do not know their email address, leave the field empty: this creates an in-person invitation, with a longer code valid for only a few hours, which you hand over yourself (read out or via the QR code). Since nothing then binds the code to a particular person, their request appears in the list as Awaiting confirmation, and the account is only created once you confirm it from that same list.

Editing an employee

Open Employees and pick someone to change their role or specializations. Managers can edit staff at their own location; only admins can move someone to a different location from this screen.

Giving a manager more than one location

By default a manager covers a single location (their home). To have a manager oversee more than one, open that manager in Employees and use the Additional locations picker (admins only, shown for managers): choose the extra locations they should cover. They then see those locations' bookings, schedule, clients, ratings, reports, and staff aggregated together, with a location dropdown to narrow to one. Their home location is unchanged, and managers still cannot create or delete locations. A mechanic always stays at a single location.

Moving someone - the assign / move wizard

To reassign an existing employee to another location (and set up their workplace there in one go), open Employees and tap Assign / move employee:

  1. Employee - pick the person.
  2. Location - the location to move them to (managers are pinned to their own).
  3. Workplace - leave Create or enable workplace there on so they have a bay at the new location.
  4. Review & apply - confirm.

What happens next: the employee is reassigned, their workplace at the new location is created or re-enabled, and you return to the employees list.
