On site ​

The On site board shows, for a location, every vehicle physically in the shop right now, that is, the bookings whose customer has been checked in. It's the day-to-day front-desk view: what's in the yard and what stage each job is at.

Opening the board ​

Choose On site from the menu. Pick the location at the top (if you cover several); the board opens on your home location.

Grouped by work stage ​

Vehicles are grouped by work stage, so you can see the flow through the shop at a glance:

  • In parking lot - arrived, not started yet,
  • In service - being worked on,
  • Waiting for parts - blocked until parts arrive,
  • Ready for pickup - work finished, vehicle awaiting the customer.

Move a job from one stage to another from the booking page; the board reflects the change immediately.

Use the Search by plate field to quickly find a vehicle by its licence plate when the yard is full.

Marking arrival ​

If a customer has arrived but hasn't been checked in yet, use Mark as arrived. Check-in can also be done by scanning the booking's check-in code that the customer shows, described in Bookings & queues.

The board only lists checked-in vehicles. A confirmed booking appears here only once the customer is checked in.
