Customer Guide
The CarMaster customer app helps you keep your vehicles in one place, find a nearby service location, book a repair, and request a tow when you're stranded - and stay in touch with the shop the whole way through.
This guide walks through everything you can do, step by step.
Signing in
- Open the app. You land on the sign-in screen.
- Tap Log In and sign in with your account. If you signed up with a social login (such as Google), use the same button.
- New here? Tap Create Account to register.
When you register, you only need your first name, last name, and phone number. After that you're taken to your home screen.
Your home screen
The home screen is your starting point. Until you've added your first vehicle, it shows an onboarding checklist to help you get going:
- Account created - done as soon as you register.
- Add your first vehicle - tap the step to add a car.
Once you have a vehicle, the checklist disappears and the home screen shows quick actions instead: Find a service, Request a tow, My vehicles, My bookings, and Messages.
TIP
You need at least one vehicle on file before you can book a service or request a tow. The app will prompt you to add one if you try to book first.
What you can do
- Manage your vehicles - add cars from the built-in catalog or enter them manually.
- Find a location - browse service, towing, store, and dismantling locations, sorted nearest first.
- Book a service - pick a vehicle, the type of work, a day, and a time.
- Track your bookings - see status and progress, cancel, and review past visits.
- Request a tow - pin your location and watch the truck come to you.
- Chat in Messages - talk to the shop about any booking or tow.
- Notifications & permissions - stay informed and control what the app can access.
- Profile & account - update your details, language, and account.
Getting around
The main menu (a bottom bar on phones, a side menu on larger screens) takes you to Home, Bookings, Vehicles, Towing, Messages, and History. A bell icon shows your unread notifications, and the account menu holds Profile, Permissions, and Logout.
Most lists support pull-to-refresh - pull down to reload - and scroll to load more as you go.
