Notifications & permissions

The app keeps your team up to date on new bookings, tow requests, and messages, and needs a few device permissions for its location features.

Notifications

A bell in the menu shows your latest notifications and an unread count; View all opens the full Notifications page. You'll be notified about:

• New and changed bookings - pending requests, confirmations, work-stage changes.
• Towing requests - new jobs and status changes.
• New messages from customers.
• Invitations - when relevant to you.

Tap a notification to jump to the related booking, tow, or conversation. You can mark items read individually or all at once.

Besides the in-app notifications, on a new booking request the location's staff also get an SMS and email, with a link to the booking to confirm. SMS is sent only if the employee has a phone number.

Choosing what notifies you

Your Profile page has notification preferences by type. Muting stops the push alert but keeps the item in your in-app inbox, so nothing is lost.

Permissions

Open the Permissions page to grant what the app needs:

• Location (GPS) - needed to stream your truck's live position on towing jobs.
• Notifications - needed for push alerts.
• Camera - needed to send photos in chat.

WARNING

Without location permission, customers can't see your truck move on the map during a tow. The towing screen warns you when your position isn't being shared.
