View as a role Manager+

Admins and managers can temporarily experience the app as a lower role, to see exactly what their staff see. This is a safe, view-only downgrade - you stay yourself, and you can never gain access you don't already have.

• An admin can view as a manager (at a chosen location) or as a mechanic.
• A manager can view as a mechanic at their own location.

Turning it on

1. Open your Profile page.
2. Find the View as another role card.
3. Pick the role (and, for admins, the location).
4. Start - the app reloads in that role.

While it's active, a banner stays at the top of the screen as a reminder, and the menu, quick actions, and filters all switch to what that role would see.

Turning it off

Tap Exit on the banner (or return to the card on your profile). The app reloads back to your real role.

TIP

This only changes what you see and can do during the session. Any real actions you take are still recorded as you - the downgrade never hides who did what.
