Profile & account

Your Profile page is where you manage your personal details, language, notifications, and account.

Your details

Open Profile from the account menu. You can review and update:

• First name and last name
• Phone number
• Email

Account-level changes such as your password are handled through the secure account management link.

Language

Switch the app between English and Romanian from the language selector. Your choice is remembered.

Work done before you had an account

If you left your car at a shop before creating an account here, the shop opened a record against your phone number. You can bring that work into your account:

1. On the Profile page, press Send the code in the Been to a shop before? section.
2. You receive a 6-digit code by SMS, valid for 10 minutes.
3. Enter the code. The cars and jobs recorded against that number move into your account.

The same question appears once, right after you register.

If there is nothing waiting on your number, no SMS is sent and you are told so. The code can be requested at most three times an hour.

Notification preferences

The profile page also hosts your notification mute settings by type. See Notifications & permissions for how muting works.

Your data

• Export your data - download a copy of the personal information CarMaster holds about you (GDPR).
• Delete your account - permanently remove your account and data. Deletion immediately signs you out on all devices.

WARNING

Deleting your account is permanent and can't be undone.

Logging out

Use Logout from the account menu. This signs you out on this device, stops push notifications here, and returns you to the sign-in screen. If you're signed in on other tabs, they're signed out too.
